Unite NY in the News: Advocates push for ranked choice voting, open primaries in local elections

Spectrum News reported on Unite NY’s work to bring ranked-choice voting, semi-open primaries and expanded ballot access to Buffalo: "However, in the city of Buffalo, the group [Unite NY] has paired with the Western New York RCV Coalition to push for election reform proposals that include semi-open primaries, which would allow independent voters to vote in either the Republican or Democratic primary, ranked choice voting, and expanded ballot access on the November ballot."
